One by one, the graduates stood in the fellowship hall of the St. Paul Episcopal Church on Main Street in Franklin on Monday night and told friends and family they were thankful they were arrested.
It’s not something most people would expect to hear, but in this room, the audience understood. For the speakers, it was the choice between a DUI or possibly someone ending up dead.
It was the end of one journey and the beginning of another. The first started about 10 years ago.
